با بازگشت سلام‌ایر به مسیر تهران–مسقط، ارتباط هوایی بین ایران و عمان دوباره برقرار شده است. با این حال، شرایط جدید پذیرش مسافر نشان می‌دهد که این پرواز که از تهران انجام می‌شود، هنوز برای همه مسافران ایرانی قابل استفاده نیست.

بر اساس اطلاعیه منتشرشده درباره شرایط پذیرش پروازهای سلام‌ایر عمان به تهران، دارندگان گذرنامه ایرانی که اقامت معتبر عمان ندارند، در فهرست مسافران مجاز قرار نمی‌گیرند. طبق شرایط اعلام‌شده، تنها گروه‌های زیر می‌توانند از این پروازها استفاده کنند: دارندگان کارت اقامت معتبر عمان، دارندگان ویزای اقامت دوساله با عنوان «Resident»، شهروندان عمانی و همچنین دارندگان گذرنامه کشورهای عضو شورای همکاری خلیج فارس.

در مقابل، یک مسافر ایرانی که صرفاً قصد سفر به عمان را دارد و اقامت این کشور را ندارد، نمی‌تواند از پروازی استفاده کند که از تهران به مقصد مسقط برقرار شده است. این وضعیت یک تناقض آشکار ایجاد می‌کند: پروازی که از ایران انجام می‌شود، اما مسافران ایرانی امکان استفاده از آن را ندارند.

حسن کریم‌نیا، کارشناس حمل‌ونقل و ترانزیت، اظهار داشت که اگر قرار است پروازهای خارجی به ایران بازگردند، هدف نباید تنها ثبت دوباره نام یک شرکت هواپیمایی خارجی در جدول پروازهای فرودگاه باشد، بلکه باید امکان استفاده واقعی مسافران از این پروازها فراهم شود.

علاوه بر این، نبود اطلاع‌رسانی شفاف و یکپارچه درباره شرایط پذیرش می‌تواند مسافران را با هزینه‌های سنگین، سرگردانی در فرودگاه یا حتی ممانعت از سوار شدن مواجه کند.

مقامات هوانوردی کشور در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار اقتصادی خبرگزاری فارس اعلام کردند که این مسئله از ابتدا وجود داشته و آن‌ها در حال رایزنی و پیگیری هستند تا امکان استفاده از پروازهای تهران–مسقط برای تمام مسافران ایرانی فراهم شود.

Strange Conditions for Tehran–Muscat Flight: The Route Is Back, but Ordinary Iranians Can't Board

With SalamAir's return to the Tehran–Muscat route, air connectivity between Iran and Oman has been restored. However, the new passenger acceptance conditions show that this flight, operating from Tehran, is still not usable by all Iranian travelers.

According to a notice published regarding the acceptance conditions for SalamAir's Oman–Tehran flights, Iranian passport holders who do not hold valid Omani residency are not included in the list of permitted passengers. Under the announced conditions, only the following groups may use these flights: holders of valid Omani residence cards, holders of two-year residence visas designated as "Resident," Omani citizens, and holders of passports from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

By contrast, an Iranian traveler who merely intends to visit Oman and does not hold residency there cannot use the very flight that operates from Tehran to Muscat. This situation creates a clear contradiction: a flight departing from Iran, yet Iranian passengers are unable to use it.

Hassan Karimnia, a transport and transit expert, stated that if foreign flights are to return to Iran, the goal should not merely be to re-register a foreign airline's name in the airport's flight schedule, but to enable passengers to actually use these flights.

Furthermore, the lack of clear and consistent information about the acceptance conditions can expose travelers to heavy costs, confusion at the airport, or even being denied boarding.

Aviation officials, in an interview with the Fars News Agency economic correspondent, stated that this issue has existed from the outset and that they are negotiating and following up to make the Tehran–Muscat flights available to all Iranian passengers.
